Wellness Plan appointments - We are always very busy providing care for our Wellness Plan members. Whether at new pet or annual vaccinations with a veterinary surgeon, implanting microchips, mid-year checks with a veterinary nurse, dispensing parasite medications when they are due, emptying anal glands, or clipping nails ... all these services are covered by our Wellness Plan at no additional cost.- New Puppy - includes a vet consultation and nurse appointments, weigh-ins, health checks, vaccinations, free puppy pack, advice on many aspects of puppy ownership and their health needs, and more.
- New Kitten - includes a vet consultation and nurse appointments, weigh-ins, health checks, vaccinations, free kitten pack, advice on many aspects of kitten ownership and their health needs, and more.
- Senior Clinics - Our experienced team of consulting veterinary nurses provide a clinic to assess and discuss various aspects of health affecting our more elderly patients. The ideal timing for these appointments is a week or so before your annual check up with a veterinary surgeon.
- Weight Management - Garston Vets has been recognised as a ROYAL CANIN® Approved Weight Management Centre. Our staff are perfectly placed to help you identify, manage, and correct any weight or obesity problems in your pets.
- Laser Therapy - Highly effective in reducing pain and swelling, as well as improving healing time and increasing circulation, laser therapy can benefit pets with conditions such as osteoarthritis, injuries, wounds, dental conditions, and more.
- Veterinary Nurse Appointments - Our experienced nursing team offer a variety of nurse clinics to help you and your pet with new arrivals, parasite protection, microchipping, nutrition, postoperative care, dental issues, pet behaviour, anal gland emptying, nail clipping, grooming advice and administration of medications. - Cat Friendly Clinics - All our Garston Vet practices offer cat-only appointment times with both vets & nurses, as well as numerous other measures to reduce feline anxiety and stress when visiting us.
- Breathe Easy appointments for brachycephalic breeds - Short-nosed dog breeds such as pugs and French bulldogs can suffer from a condition called BOAS that severely affects their ability to breathe normally. Garston Vets can offer corrective surgery in many cases.
