Lead Veterinary Surgeon at Frome

Sophie, originally from Worcestershire, qualified from the University of Bristol in 2015 and has since remained in the South West as part of the Garston team. In 2023, she took on the role of Lead Vet at our Frome branch. In addition to her position on the senior management team, Sophie leads our Dentistry service and is a member of our Hospital Committee, which consists of a small group of vets and nurses dedicated to maintaining gold standards of care in our 24-hour hospital.

Outside of work, Sophie enjoys staying active. After retiring from competitive trampolining in 2018, she now regularly participates in activities such as weight training, pole fitness, gymnastics, bouldering, surfing, and skiing. When she isn't exercising, she can be found at home with her partner and their elderly cat, Purdy.
