Jamie Rahman
BVSc BSc MRCVS
Veterinary Surgeon
Jamie graduated from the University of Bristol in 2019 and started his career in a busy small animal charity hospital, sparking a love for Emergency and Critical Care. However, his true passion in practice remains Surgery, especially Orthopaedics. He has been able to gain a wealth of experience in both of his chosen fields as a Head Night Veterinarian in a busy small animal hospital in Bristol and with time as a Surgical Lead before joining Garston Veterinary Group in September 2025. He is currently completing his Post Graduate Certificate in Small Animal Surgery and hopes to attain Advanced Practitioner status thereafter. Jamie hopes to help expand the surgical services available at Garston with his colleagues and make the advanced more routine. Outside of work, Jamie is a keen runner with 3 marathons under his belt and loves all things Pokémon. He lives with his partner, a Veterinary Nurse, and their two cats and is hoping to add an Afghan Hound to the mix very soon.
