Gemma Ockenden

Gemma started working in a Veterinary Practice in Dorset in 2000 and qualified in 2004. She joined Garston Vets in 2019 as Lead Veterinary Nurse in Warminster after working in another practice in Dorset/Somerset for 16 years. During this time Gemma has gained a lot of experience and completed many extra courses to continue her professional development including becoming a SQP, Clinical Coach, and also being Head Nurse for a period of time. She enjoys all aspects of her job and likes the variety that’s involved. Gemma lives in Gillingham with her Husband, two daughters, a dog called Parker, a ginger cat called Parsnip, and Guinea pigs Reggie and Ozzie. Gemma enjoys holidays abroad, socialising with friends, and going to exercise classes as often as possible.
