The role of a Veterinary Receptionist

A veterinary receptionist role differs from the usual reception role in that you are also responsible for the dispensing of pharmaceuticals. We, therefore, require that our receptionists have obtained a minimum of 5 GCSEs at grade C or above (or equivalent) including maths and English. If you meet these criteria and have previous reception/customer care experience, then we welcome speculative applications.

You can read about how the Garston Vets Receptionists each came to be a part of our Garston family, and what some of them think about their role. Meet our team.

If you’d like to join the Garston Vets’ Reception & Client Care team, send us your CV. We also list current positions available at Garston Vets on our current vacancies page.
