Amy Lang

Amy joined the Garston reception team in November 2022. She moved to the area having previously lived near London, and worked for 3 years in retail along with plenty of pet-sitting. In her spare time, Amy loves relaxing and playing video games, curling up with a sci-fi novel, or going on a nice long walk with her family and their dog.

Rosie Macey-Welsh

Rosie is an ex-zookeeper, who has always had a love of animals. She has also taught the animal care course at a College and wanted to bring her passion for animals to work at Garston Vets. In her spare time, Rosie enjoys pole fitness and horse-riding, all while looking after her four mini lop rabbits and cat at home.

Shelley Alma

Shelley joined the Garston team in November 2022, after working on a dairy farm for two years. She grew up in Cheshire, but most of Shelley’s family are Dutch. In her spare time, Shelley works with horses with behavioral issues,  she is a Master Reiki Practitioner, working with people and animals, and lives with her grown-up daughter in Frome after moving to the town 25 years ago.

Tyler Miller

Tyler joined the Garston reception team in 2022. He loves history and archaeology and is often busy learning more about the subjects by completing online courses in his spare time. He loves to read and is a huge geek about science fiction, which spills over into the television shows and films. Tyler lives at home with his retired parents and also shares his home with Poppy the 14-year-old Pug x West Highland White Terrier.

Ali Brown

Ali joined the Garston Group having been self-employed for the last 17 years.

She lives in Warminster with her family including two teenagers and springer spaniel called Peko.  In her spare time she enjoys cooking, playing hockey, cycling and anything that involves being out in the fresh air!

Lydia Morris

Lydia joined the Garston nursing team after gaining her Equine Management Diploma at college. She has grown up around small and large animals and would like to work her way up the Garston team ladder. In her spare time, Lydia enjoys riding her horse and walking her cockapoo.

Lauren Billing

Lauren joined our nursing team in 2022 as a Kennel Assistant. She has always wanted a career which involved caring for animals and has studied Animal Management at a local college. Lauren is hoping to train to become a Registered Veterinary Nurse with us in due course. When she isn’t looking after our patients, Lauren is at home caring for her own cats, sisters Mollie and Maple.

Petra Howland RVN

Petra has been nursing for a few years, but her favourite part of the job is inpatient care, with geriatric pets are another favourite, and Petra also loves guinea pigs, with five currently living with her. She also has three cats, two dogs, and two teenage children to keep her busy. In her free time, Petra enjoys dog walks, the gym and reading.

Amy Bell

Before joining Garston Veterinary Group, Amy qualified and worked as a massage and beauty therapist, but she has always wanted a career caring for animals and hopes to become a Registered Veterinary Nurse one day. Amy loves cats and has a two-year-old feline friend called Socks.

Angela Hancock

Angela has worked in customer service for over 20 years, the last 14 of those spent in a management role for a well known high street brand. She has always been passionate about animals, so she decided that she wanted to use her experience to pursue her lifelong dream of working in the veterinary industry and joined the receptionist team in August 2022.
When she’s not working, Angela enjoys spending time with her young son, exploring new walks with the dog, reading and drawing.
