Beth started working as a veterinary nurse in 2012 and trained at a practice in Somerset/Dorset through Lynwood School of Veterinary Nursing. After qualifying in 2019, she spent some time in New Zealand working with large animals and joined Garston Vets in 2020. In the summer of 2021, Beth left the practice briefly, before returning home here as Senior Consulting Nurse. She is excited to fulfil the new role, and work closely with our clients and pets. In her spare time, she enjoys socialising with friends, travelling and spending time with her niece and nephews.
Emma joined the nursing team as a kennel assistant in 2021. She was selected to take part in the ‘Pathways to Veterinary Science’ program at Bristol University and hopes to start veterinary school in 2023. Emma spends her spare time competing her horses and working her dogs.
Charlotte has been working in the HR Team since 2018 and gained her CIPD Associate status in 2020. She worked at a corporate Law Firm for 11 years previously. Charlotte lives locally with her young family and dog.
Steph joined the Garston team after leaving a successful career as a teacher of 17 years. She was looking for a change so that she could spend more time with her partner, two teenage children and her pets. Steph is an animal lover and grew up in South Africa volunteering at various charities from an early age. Steph has been a Garston client for many years and has always admired the professional and ‘family’ values that we portray, she said that ‘It is a privilege to work here and its certainly not a façade, everyone is welcoming, knowledgeable and friendly and they all really care for every animal that comes through the doors’.
Victoria completed an apprenticeship after finishing her A Levels and has an NVQ Level 3 in Business Administration, along with 8 years of office, admin and customer service experience. In her spare time she enjoys looking after and competing her two horses, Quiz and Fanta. Although the horses take up pretty much most of her spare time, Vicky also enjoys travelling and has solo travelled 7 European cities (and counting!).
Becky joined the Garston team in 2021, after spending several years as a Zookeeper at Longleat. She loves all animals, and is hopeful to become a veterinary nurse one day, specialising in exotics. She has a rescue cat called Poirot and a horse called Polo and usually spends her free time at gym, or snuggled up watching movies.
David joined the Garston reception team in 2021, with 18 years of customer service experience, which was gained as a retail manager and a call center operator. David lives’ in Trowbridge with his partner, 9year old son and 5 year old Alaskan Malamute called Popcorn. He enjoys spending time with my family, watching movies and going on long walks.
