Sarah Barker

In 2023, Sarah became a member of the Garston family. Prior to that, she served as a customer service representative for the local government for nine years. As a huge animal lover, Sarah learned to ride horses at the young age of five. Her family’s home is authorized for doggy care and home boarding, which her husband and daughter manage together. Sarah’s hobbies include spending time with her family, walking her two yellow Labradors, and traveling abroad.

Joanna Paddock RVN

Jo qualified as a RVN from Lynwood School of Veterinary Nursing in May 2023 after working in various practices since 2015. She started working with the nursing team at Garston Vets in December 2023 and loves her job. In her free time, she usually goes to the gym, swims, or spends quality time with her family. Jo’s goal for 2024 is to begin taking ice skating lessons.

Within her job role, Jo finds inpatient care and emergency cases particularly interesting. She hopes to pursue a certificate in medical nursing in the near future.

Sian Davies

Siân relocated to Wiltshire from the sunny Staffordshire/Shropshire border to pursue an MA at Bath Spa. After working predominantly in retail, she recently joined the team at Garston. Siân is a proud owner of a black cat named Corvo, whom she loves unconditionally. During her free time, she enjoys spending time with friends playing video games, participating in D&D sessions, attending pub quizzes, and reading.

Naomi George

Naomi came to Garston Vets as a work experience student in 2006 and shortly afterwards was employed for 13 years as a Kennel Assistant for 13 years. Some of that time was spent working for another practice, but we are so delighted that Naomi returned to Garston in 2023.

Naomi loves working with all animals, enjoys giving excellent patient care and has a keen interest in exotics particularly birds and rabbits. In her spare time, Naomi’s hobbies include swimming and anything that involves her two Collies. Exploring the countryside, scent work, agility classes are some of their favorite activities, with paddle boarding a new goal for 2024.

Holly Streat BVSc MRCVS

Holly graduated from the University of Bristol in 2023 where she particularly enjoyed small animal emergency and acute medicine. Holly is looking forward to developing her interest in these areas, along with other aspects of veterinary medicine at Garston Veterinary Group. In her free time, Holly enjoys running and having moved to Frome, she is planning to join a local netball team.
