Gemma Hill RVN

Gemma qualified as a Veterinary Nurse in 2002 and has spent the last 21 years working for a large charity practice. She enjoys all aspects of her job, especially inpatient care and surgical nursing. When Gemma is not at work she is looking after young family and walking her dog Walter. Gemma is longing to have a horse again and hopes that it won’t be too long!

Holly Fowler RVN

Holly started working for the practice in 2017 as part of the reception team, before pursuing a career in the veterinary nursing field and studying to become a qualified veterinary nurse. In her spare time, Holly enjoys exploring the local countryside with her dogs and friends.

Nicole Wright RVN

Nicole graduated from Harper Adams University in 2015 with a Hons degree in Veterinary Nursing. Originally from Yorkshire, Nicole moved to Wiltshire in 2017 and joined the Garston Vets team. Nicole enjoys spending her spare time with her husband plus their six dogs, and holidaying in the Lake District.

Lisa Davis

Lisa joined Garston Veterinary Group in August 2017 as a Receptionist, and one day a week as a Kennel Assistant in 2019.  In December 2022 she started at Lynwood School of Veterinary Nursing, to train as an Animal Nursing Assistant. Lisa is hoping to train as a Registered Veterinary Nurse.

Lisa enjoys walking her dogs, Toby and Marley, and home nursing her geriatric cat, Snowy.  She also enjoys reading, word puzzles, and studying for her nursing qualifications.

Melissa Slade

Melissa joined Garston Veterinary Group in October 2021 after a career change from being a manager in a retail store. Before that, she spent 3 years at University studying Animal Behaviour. Melissa enjoys spending her spare time with her 14 rabbits, reading books or going on spontaneous walks out in the country side.

Caitlin Scoble

Caitlin joined us in 2018 as a work experience student for her college course at Lackham Collage before being offered a Kennel Assistant position in 2019. On completion of her Diploma in Animal Care, Caitlin has now joined our nursing team full time and has progressed to a student veterinary nurse.

Verity Lawrence

Verity joined the Garston team in November 2021 as a second year student nurse. She worked as a veterinary care assistant prior to starting her nurse training at another practice. At home, Verity has 5 cats, 2 rabbits, chickens and a very loud rooster as an alarm clock. In my spare time Verity enjoys going to exercise classes and spending time with friends and family.

Annie Rolls RVN

Annie joined us in 2014 shortly after completing her work experience. She has progressed from a Kennel Assistant to a becoming a Registered Veterinary Nurse in 2020. In 2023, Annie achieved the ‘Assistant Lead Nurse’ position at our Trowbridge surgery.  Annie loves all aspects of nurses, especially felines. She can often be found in our cattery, giving cat cuddles!

Anna Lee RVN

Anna joined the practice in 2018 as a receptionist and then became an Animal Nursing Assistant in July 2019. In her spare time she performs at the Frome Memorial Theatre where she has been involved with since the age of 9; if you don’t catch her in costume, you’ll catch Anna in uniform cuddling puppies.

Laura Lewis RVN

Laura started working at our Trowbridge surgery in 1997 on Saturdays before becoming a student nurse. Laura qualified as an RVN in 2003 and has been working as a night nurse for the last 8 years as she especially enjoys emergency work and caring for critically ill patients, gaining her certificate in 2017. When she is not at work, Laura enjoys spending time with her son and guinea pigs. She is also partial to a spot of horse riding and zumba!
