Steph Sturdee

Having worked at Garston for 2 years, Steph has now been promoted to our Trowbridge surgery lead receptionist.  Steph has thoroughly enjoyed getting to know our Trowbridge clients and play an active part in her local community.  Being a former teacher, Steph loves training and supporting both clients and colleagues as best she can.  Steph was a loyal Garston client for many years and after two years of working at Garston, she loves her job. Everyday is a challenge and never a dull moment.

Steph is currently our only ISFM Cat Friendly Receptionist and is always happy to pass her knowledge on to both clients and colleagues.  She is looking forward to rolling out training so that all of our receptionists, to help make our feline patient visits’ as friendly as possible.

Harriet Haygreen

Harriet began working as a small animal receptionist here at Garston Vets in 2018. Harriet has since moved over to the Large Animal and Equine department to be their Dispensary Coordinator. She has recently passed her exams to become a SQP meaning she can prescribe and supply veterinary medicines. In her spare time she enjoys being out and about,  exploring the countryside with her horses and Labrador.

Claire Webb

Starting in her teens, Claire worked with animals, but decided to qualify as a teaching assistant in 2003 when her children were of school age. In November 2014, she returned to a role working with animals when she joined our Large Animal reception team. In her spare time, Claire enjoys walking with her Jack Russell called Buster and riding her vintage Vespa scooter.

Liz Grigg

Liz joined Garston Farm Vets in Frome as a large animal receptionist in 2017. Previously working for Longleat Safari Park meant that she’d already worked with some of the Garston team, which made it a lovely, easy transition. Liz lives with her partner Andy, and they have a daughter studying agriculture at university. She has a black Labrador and 2 black cats.

Clare Rogers

A change of career saw Clare joining our reception team in December 2016. Clare tells us she’s learned so much already and continues to do so every day, no two days are the same which makes it all the more interesting, and she feels proud to have a job that she loves. Clare has a black Labrador and enjoys all the fantastic walks our local countryside has to offer.

Debbie Major

Debbie has been with the Garston family for 16 years as a receptionist. She is married with 2 children. Debbie has always loved animals and was involved with a wildlife charity for 17 years. She has one dog and love exploring the countryside.

Charlotte Edwards

Charlotte previously worked at a local pet shop before joining the Garston family, She wanted a change of career but wanted to stay within the animal care industry.

She has completed her BTec 1st Diploma in Animal Care and  BTec National Diploma in Animal Management.  Charlotte has a partner and 3 Daughters who are all thrill seekers and enjoy nothing more than going to theme parks and trying out all the roller coasters together. In her spare time you will find Charlotte either making toys for her pet rats or exploring new places with her very cheeky German Shorthaired Pointer Lola.

Sandra Moore

Sandra has worked within Garston Vets’ reception team for over 16 years, first as a receptionist, then as Head Receptionist, until being promoted to Reception Manager in 2019. Sandra enjoys working with such a fantastic team at Garston who regularly arrange social events such as skittles or quiz nights. Outside of work she enjoys walking her Sprocker named Kasper, and taking him on camping weekends away.
