Garston Veterinary Group Small Animal department comprises a well established team of experienced vets and nurses dedicated to the care and treatment of domestic pets. We aim to provide the best quality of care over the whole range of services expected in a modern veterinary clinic. We invest heavily in staff training and purchase of up to date equipment in order to offer a full service for our patients. We are signed up and committed to the RCVS Practice Standards Scheme which is designed to ensure that we constantly review and improve our clinical procedures.
Customer care is very important to us and we continually look to improve our service. Our team is large enough to ensure that we can offer you convenient appointments(up to 6.30pm)and we operate our own out of hours service making us available 24 hours a day. In an out of hours emergency you will be visited by a Garston vet ensuring continuity of care.
Our 16 small animal veterinary surgeons have a staggering 209 years’ service between them! Some of our vets have an interest in particular areas such as orthopaedics, dermatology or cardiology. This means that we can offer you services that would normally need to be outsourced. We can also accept referrals from other veterinary practices for certain specialities.
Our nursing staff consists predominantly of qualified veterinary nurses – currently 17 in total. We are an RCVS approved nurse training practice. We achieve consistently high results in the RCVS examinations which is a credit to our training standards.
All of our well trained staff are animal lovers. We understand the joy and sometimes the worry of being a pet owner. We know how important your pets are and will show you and your pet care and understanding when you visit us.
